About me

Hello, my name is Claude Mandres.

More than 20 years ago I started working for a famous Luxemburgish airline.

I will turn fifty soon, father of 2 marvelous kids and married with the most patient and tolerant wife of the world.
One of my biggest passions, besides discovering the world by plane, is exploring new trails by bicycles.
During my free days, I spend a lot of time riding on mountain bikes or travelling through the world with trekking bikes.

Cycling is a fun, healthy and economical means of travel. Bicyclists travel fast enough to feel a cooling breeze yet slow enough to experience and enjoy the scenery.
This increases the opportunity for wildlife encounters and you’re more likely to notice birds, insects, plants and animals.

While adventure travel sounds exotic, the real reason to travel on a bike are the incredible experiences you’d have missed otherwise. Sure, you might fall short of your destination because it rained, you had a flat, etc. but what about that deserted beach you accidentally discovered? Or the cows that you met on a bike trail in the Swiss Alps?

Adventures aren’t always pleasant, but they’ll enrich you with memories for a lifetime.

And that is all about.
